2009 Remos GX
Light Sport
N208GX
Lots of great flying on a budget
$89,000 USD

The Remos GX is a popular Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) known for its docile flight characteristics, modern avionics, and relatively low operating costs. It's a versatile aircraft suitable for flight training, cross-country flights, time building, and personal aviation activities.
Here is an opportunity to get into a well-maintained, accident-free, ready-to-go Remos GX. N208GX has most recently lived in the dry Arizona desert under the close supervision of a Part 61 facility on a proactive maintenance program and is ready for its next adventure.
Please carefully review the specs, the detailed high resolution image gallery, and the walkaround video below. I have completed a deep review of all logbooks, which is a significant effort to document the specifications and history of the aircraft. The findings are presented here on this spec page.
If you reach out to me, I can digitally share all logbooks and important documents.

Broker's Thoughts
On This Aircraft
As the broker, I make a significant effort to represent an aircraft in as much detail as possible. I share with you not only the benefits and features I've discovered, but also the issues or concerns that I found during my extensive intake and deep logbook review process. I present dozens of detailed, high resolution images, and an extensive walkaround video. Please review this material in detail. All logbooks and other important documents are professionally scanned, well organized, and available for your review.
My goal is that any Buyer making the effort to look at an aircraft in person can first see the aircraft "virtually" on this web page. |
Exterior - The carbon fiber surfaces of this Remos GX, overall, look good for the age of the aircraft. I saw no evidence of hangar rash or other overt damage anywhere on the aircraft. The pilot's door has some cosmetic damage on the forward/bottom corner, this is shown up close in the Image Gallery. There is a scrape on one of the wheel pants, nothing significant though. Lastly, the starboard side of the rudder has a minor scrape which can be seen in the detailed images.
The prop was recently overhauled and is in near perfect condition. Paint is in reasonably good condition. There is one area along the forward portion of the right side of the empennage where it looks like possibly a decal was removed - it looks like it's perhaps some residue from the decal. There are very minor dings/chips on the leading edge of the upper engine cowling, near the prop spinner (this is typical wear and generally not a concern). Lastly, there are some minor paint chips around the front windshield and along the empennage. These nitpicks are shown up close in the Image Gallery.
The Plexiglas windows overall look good, though I found a crack on the pilot's side window which has been properly addressed by an aircraft mechanic. The tires exhibit sufficient tread and look to be in good shape.
The Image Gallery (below) contains close-up, detailed, high resolution images so that you can get a great view of the aircraft exterior. Please review them carefully.

Instrument Panel - The VFR panel in N208GX remains nearly original, with its Garmin COM radio, Garmin audio panel, and Dynon PFD (Primary Flight Display) and autopilot. The autopilot is missing knob faces so while it was working properly prior to the damage to the knobs, it is currently regarded as "INOP". The transponder has been upgraded to a GTX330 Mode-S unit. The aircraft has both ADS-B In and Out capabilities using a uAvionix Echo transceiver.
Please refer to the "Avionics and Equipment" list above for complete details, and to the Image Gallery below for close-up images.
Interior - The interior is in good condition for its age. The comfortable seat upholstery and bolsters are in really nice condition. The floors, which are not carpeted from the factory, show wear from foot traffic. The roof area is presentable, as is the rear portion of the cockpit.
Please look at the high resolution images in the Image Gallery for more details on the interior condition. The walkaround video, below, also shows the interior and headliner up close.
Overall - N208GX is a fantastic LSA for personal use, building hours, or for learning to fly. The ultra reliable Rotax engine and the entire aircraft have been professionally maintained. The price and economy of this aircraft make it an incredibly affordable way for anyone to aviate!
