N7350H Cessna T182 Turbo Skylane

1981 Cessna T182
Turbo Skylane II
N7350H

Original Arizona Turbo 182,
well preserved, ready to fly

$199,000 OBO USD

Most General Aviation pilots agree that the Cessna 182 is the best overall airplane in the fleet.

There's not one aircraft that "does it all", but a Cessna 182 does most everything quite well and economically. Relative to the market, a 182 can be acquired for a reasonable price, it carries a respectable payload, it has a decent cruise speed, it can fly slowly when needed, and it fits in as well in the backcountry as it does at the local airport. A Turbo 182 does all of this significantly better than its non-turbo siblings.

The Cessna 182 also makes a fantastic platform for power upgrades as well as a platform for improved backcountry capabilities - there are many STCs available for the tried-and-true Cessna 182.

This low-time, IFR-capable, fixed-gear Turbo 182 Skylane II is a one-owner, Arizona-based aircraft.

This Turbo 182 was purchased new by its owner from Sawyer Aviation in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1981. It has recently been tastefully upgraded with a Garmin GPS Navigator and a Garmin transponder, and it has a new turbo. Hangared since day one, the aircraft's factory original paint still looks great. These fixed gear turbo 182s do not show up on the market often, and they cost far less to insure than the turbo retracts. This aircraft hauls nearly 1,200 lbs of useful load with full power right on up to the higher altitudes.

Please carefully review the detailed, high resolution image gallery and lengthy walkaround video below. You'll see every inch of the aircraft. If you reach out to me, I can digitally share all logbooks and important documents.

Aircraft Evaluation

As the broker, I make a significant effort to represent an aircraft up front in as much detail as possible. I share with you not only the benefits and features I've discovered, but also the issues or concerns that I found during my extensive intake and deep logbook review process. I present well over 100 detailed, high resolution images, in some cases noting directly on the image a potential issue which caught my attention. Please review all images in detail. All logbooks and other important documents are professionally scanned, well organized, and readily available on the cloud for your review.

My goal is that any Buyer making the effort to look at an aircraft in person can first see the aircraft "virtually" on this web page and through video. This helps the Buyer avoid surprises when they arrive to view the aircraft in person.

Exterior - Overall, the exterior of N7350H is in nice condition. The original factory paint shows depth and has plenty of life left in it. Though it looks good, a professional cleaning and ceramic coat would make it look fantastic. The aluminum overall looks good. The leading edge of the left wing has some nearly invisible minor damage which resulted in a shallow depression, but no structural or paint damage. If this was my 182, I would add a Sportsman STOL leading edge - that would cover the factory leading edge and add significant STOL capability, for not a lot of money.

As is typical with all Cessna singles, the factory plastic tips on the horizontal and vertical stabilizers, elevator, and wings have some cracks (some have been stop-drilled, some are roughly repaired). Those cracks are unsightly but purely cosmetic, and are easily and inexpensively replaced if you want it to look new.

The Image Gallery below shows detailed pictures of the items I've noted, please review those images.

Instrument Panel - The panel is largely original from the Cessna factory. It was spec'd with 400-series radios, which is a significant upgrade since those radios most often are equipped in Cessna twin engine aircraft. The IFR platform in this Skylane II was recently upgraded with a Garmin GPS175 GPS Navigator, significantly expanding IFR capability. Overall, the panel is amazingly clean for its age. I did not see any unusual wear or evidence of cosmetic abuse. The plastics look especially good for the age of the aircraft.

Interior - The interior is factory original and, just like the rest of the aircraft, is in nice condition for its age. Plastics have held out well, as have the front seats. The seat material does show some aging, particularly on the leading edge of the rear seats where the material has ripped in some areas. Please review the Image Gallery below, it contains high-resolution, detailed images of the interior.

Overall - This aircraft has no damage history and has been well preserved since new. Having been hangared in Arizona since day one, its factory paint and interior have been preserved nicely. The deep logbook review was uneventful - there's not much more in the logs besides standard inspection entries. The engine is beyond the factory recommended TBO, but the engine runs strongly and the owner continues to fly the aircraft without issues. The recently refreshed factory turbo setup is absolutely fantastic for higher density altitude scenarios, and this model of turbo is tried and true with these 182 models.
