F33A Bonanza
N7246A
IO-550, new paint,
new Garmin glass panel,
TKS Anti-Ice System,
air conditioning
$335,000Â USD
There's a reason the Beech Bonanza has been in continuous production longer than any other aircraft in history: it's a timeless design that performs better than anything in its class.
This F33A nearly has it all: a brand new Garmin glass panel, new paint, beautiful leather interior, TKS anti-ice, and air conditioning, all powered by an upgraded big bore Continental IO-550. The owner of N7246A added this Bonanza to his fleet strictly for personal use, and made some exceptional updates to the aircraft. With the recent addition of a twin engine to the fleet, now the F33A needs to go.
Please carefully review the detailed, high resolution image gallery and lengthy walkaround video below. You'll see every inch of the aircraft. If you reach out to me, I can digitally share all logbooks and important documents.

Aircraft Evaluation
As the broker, I make a significant effort to represent an aircraft up front in as much detail as possible. I share with you not only the benefits and features I've discovered, but also the issues or concerns that I found during my extensive intake and deep logbook review process. I present well over 100 detailed, high resolution images, in some cases noting directly on the image a potential issue which caught my attention. Please review all images in detail. All logbooks and other important documents are professionally scanned, well organized, and readily available on the cloud for your review.
My goal is that any Buyer making the effort to look at an aircraft in person can first see the aircraft "virtually" on this web page and through video. This helps the Buyer avoid surprises when they arrive to view the aircraft in person. |
Exterior - The exterior on this F33A is in fantastic condition. During the lengthy intake process and photo session, I observed no hangar rash or other such issues on the aluminum. I found only one very minor ding, on the trailing edge of the inboard-most portion of the right wing aileron. That's it.
The nearly new paint looks great! The metallic flecks in the black paint stand out in the sun (in some of the detailed images, it may look like dust, but it's not). The black wing walk coating is fairly new and looks sharp. The leading edges of the wings and vertical stabilizer are outfitted with a TKS system, the best after-market anti-ice system available for a Bonanza. The fiberglass D'Shannon tip tanks give the aircraft an aggressive look and provide an additional 30 gallons of fuel.
The Image Gallery below contains many detailed pictures of the exterior, please review those images.
Instrument Panel - Last year, the entire instrument panel was removed, and a new, custom panel was fabricated and installed by one of the best avionics shops in the southwestern U.S. The panel is now 100% Garmin avionics. The primary display is a Garmin G500 Txi, complimented by a Garmin GDU700P touchscreen. A new 3-axis Garmin GFC500 autopilot was installed, along with Garmin's top-of-the-line transponder, the GTX345, which also provides ADS-B IN and OUT. The panel has dual WAAS GPS navigators: a GTN750Xi and a GTN650Xi, both which provide NAV/COM functionality and tie into the Garmin GMA35c audio panel.
In my opinion, one of best upgrades, besides the 100% Garmin glass, is the CIES fuel senders which were installed and interfaced to the Garmin GEA110 Engine Indication System. All pilots know how inaccurate many fuel gauges can be. CIES builds digital fuel senders which are regarded as the most reliable and accurate in the industry.
Interior - Years ago, at Oshkosh, I remember overhearing someone say "why can't other manufacturers make their single engine aircraft interiors like how Cirrus does?" I'd say this F33A has an interior which is as plush and great looking as you'll see in a Cirrus. The stylish black leather is very high quality, as is the black carpet and well appointed side panels and headliner. The seat bolsters and overall shape are fantastic. Combined with the new panel, the interior has a definite air of luxury. The detailed image gallery, below, shows close up images of the interior. The pictures don't do it justice - you'll find the interior even more appealing when you see it in person.
This F33A has air conditioning which comes from an electrically driven unit that is installed in the rear baggage area. It is legitimate air conditioning, not a swamp-cooler-style evaporative unit. With a little bit of work, the unit can be removed - which is convenient if you'd prefer to recover some space in the baggage compartment. Please see the detailed image gallery for pictures of the air conditioning unit back in the baggage space.
Overall - With its Continental IO-550 powerhouse engine, new all-Garmin panel, and nice cosmetics, this Beech F33A Bonanza makes a fantastic, year-round high performer that will very comfortably fly 4 adults in style to anywhere you want to go. The aircraft logbooks are complete, and are void of any significant issues. The low time engine was recently thoroughly inspected, and came out with a clean bill of health. Please review the gallery images below, you'll see that the engine compartment is very clean and tidy. Overall, this is a fantastic F33A, ready for its next adventure.
