N360AC – Cessna 182P

Cessna 182P Skylane
N360AC

P. Ponk engine, Garmin glass,
refreshed interior, backcountry-ready

$239,000 USD

Most General Aviation pilots agree that the Cessna 182 is the best overall airplane in the fleet.

There's not one aircraft that "does it all", but a Cessna 182 does most everything quite well and economically. Relative to the market, a 182 can be acquired for a reasonable price, it carries a respectable payload, it has a decent cruise speed, it can fly slowly when needed, and a 182 fits in as well in the backcountry as it does at the local airport.

This 182 Skylane has all the desirable upgrades already done to it.

N360AC's mid-time Continental O-470 was upgraded at its last overhaul with the P. Ponk conversion, extending TBO and horsepower, and making this 182 a true performer. Recently, the aircraft's interior was refreshed and a new IFR instrument panel, comprised of nearly all Garmin equipment, was installed by one of the top avionics shops around. With its AirGlas nose fork and larger tires, this 182 is a great platform for the backcountry - but will do just as well on paved strips.

Please carefully review the detailed, high resolution image gallery and lengthy walkaround video below. You'll see every inch of the aircraft. If you reach out to me, I can digitally share all logbooks and important documents.

Aircraft Evaluation

As the broker, I make a significant effort to represent an aircraft in as much detail as possible. I share with you not only the benefits and features I've discovered, but also the issues or concerns that I found during my extensive intake and deep logbook review process. I present dozens of detailed, high resolution images, and an extensive walkaround video. Please review this material in detail. All logbooks and other important documents are professionally scanned, well organized, and available for your review.

My goal is that any Buyer making the effort to look at an aircraft in person can first see the aircraft "virtually" on this web page.

Exterior - This aircraft's exterior is in overall good condition, with only a few blemishes or nitpick items to note. Paint was redone in 2000 and while it shows some minor fade, and has several minor paint chips or peels, the paint is still in decent condition. Professional attention to the paint would make it really shine.

The sheet aluminum is straight with no major defects to note and no evidence of hangar rash. Overall, the aircraft has good ramp presence. The upgraded, larger tires give this 182 an aggressive-looking stance. I think this aircraft looks really good.

Please review the detailed image gallery below. The high resolution images show the aircraft up close, from every angle.

Instrument Panel - The panel on N360AC recently received a complete makeover. All the work was completed by the same avionics shop that performed all of the panel and avionics work done on AOPA's recent Sweepstakes Cessna 182. This avionics shop does top notch quality work.

All instruments on this IFR panel are Garmin, except for the JPI EDM930 digital engine management system. Primary instrumentation is a G3X Touchscreen with a 10.6" glass display. The radio stack is pure Garmin - a GNS530 and a GNS430, both WAAS-capable GPS navigators with NAV and COM capabilities - coupled to a Garmin GFC500 2-axis autopilot. ADS-B IN and OUT is provided by Garmin's top of the line transponder, the GTX345. Please refer to the "Avionics and Equipment" list above, for complete details.

Interior - The interior of N360AC looks great! The carpet and plastics were recently refreshed. The leather seating is comfortable and the leather shows no cracks or tears. Combined with the beautiful new instrument panel, the interior is something an owner will be proud of. Please carefully review the interior images in the Detailed Image Gallery below.

Overall - This 182P Skylane is in good condition and is immediately ready for its next mission. The significant power upgrade gives this aircraft a big boost in performance, and the upgraded heavy duty nose fork and mains make the aircraft very capable in the backcountry. Combine this with its new panel and IFR capability, and you've got a whole lot of airplane for the money.

Please reach out to me so that I may answer any questions you have.
