Piper Lance II
PA-32RT-300
N2122G
Power, comfort, and high useful load
$142,000 USD

Power, comfort, economy, and excellent load-hauling with a wide CG envelope.Â
Think of the Piper Lance II as a dialed in, faster version of the venerable Cherokee Six. The high useful load and roomy club-configuration seating in this high performance single make it a fan favorite. Nowadays, the bang for the buck factor in these aircraft is strong.
N2122G is hangared in Arizona and has spent quite a few years recently in the drier parts of the country. The two partner owners fly the aircraft regularly, averaging 100+ hours per year. They love this airplane, however they've decided to transition to an even higher performance aircraft, so this Lance II is now offered for sale.
Please carefully review the specs, the detailed high resolution image gallery, and the walkaround video below. You'll see every inch of the aircraft. If you reach out to me, I can digitally share all logbooks and important documents.

Aircraft Evaluation
As the broker, I make a significant effort to represent an aircraft in as much detail as possible. I share with you not only the benefits and features I've discovered, but also the issues or concerns that I found during my extensive intake and deep logbook review process. I present dozens of detailed, high resolution images, and an extensive walkaround video. Please review this material in detail. All logbooks and other important documents are professionally scanned, well organized, and available for your review.
My goal is that any Buyer making the effort to look at an aircraft in person can first see the aircraft "virtually" on this web page. |
Exterior - Overall, the exterior of this Lance II is in reasonably good condition. The original factory paint is fading, however the aluminum is in nice condition. I think the paint would respond well to professional polishing. There are several areas where very minor cracks in the paint are barely visible.
It's rare that I see an aircraft with original paint that has such straight, clean trailing edges on the wings as I saw on this one. The owners have been careful during ground handling to avoid dings and hangar rash. Even the trailing edges of the T-tail and rudder look clean. The leading edges of the wings show some paint wear, mostly just due to the age of the paint.
The Image Gallery (below) contains close-up, detailed, high resolution images so that you can get a great view of the aircraft exterior.

Instrument Panel - If you appreciate a standard "steam gauge" six-pack arrangement that's been updated in all the right places, then you'll love this panel. It's been updated with a Garmin G5 HSI, and has a full Garmin radio stack. The tried and true Garmin GNS530 provides GPS navigator capability, and the GTX345 transponder provides both ADS-B IN and OUT capability with wireless streaming of ADS-B IN data to other devices such as ForeFlight.
One of the best attributes of this panel is the recently installed JPI EDM900 engine management system. This unit is absolutely fantastic. Coupled with the recently installed GAMI fuel injectors, the pilot has complete and detailed control over the engine and can monitor trends seen only with this type of advanced engine management system. The EDM900 writes detailed data to a memory card. The current owners participate in a program with Savvy Aviation to monitor this data in great detail, giving the owners regular updates by Savvy's analytics program.
Please refer to the "Avionics and Equipment" list above, for complete details, and to the Image Gallery below for close-up images.
Interior - The interior of N2122G is clean and presentable. The original factory seating is in good condition, only showing minimal wear on the front seat piping. The short pile carpet was replaced and is in nice condition. Each seat has a stereo audio jack and mic jack which is tied into the high-end Garmin audio panel for comms. Door panels and headliner are in good order. Please carefully review the interior images in the Image Gallery below.
Overall - This PA-32RT-300 Lance II is a solid Piper, is flown regularly, and is immediately ready to go on any cross-country flight. The generous useful load, combined with the roomy cabin and passenger-friendly club seating, make this economical aircraft a great choice for travel with family and friends.
