N1763W Beech A36 Bonanza

1973 Beechcraft
A36 Bonanza
N1763W

IFR-ready, 1410 lb Useful Load

$195,000 USD

Legendary Beechcraft quality, timeless Bonanza design.

The 1940s original Walter Beech design, taking shape as a Bonanza in 1947, has largely retained the same lines and wing form, through today. This timeless design, combined with high Beechcraft quality, means that Bonanzas are not only relevant, but highly desirable in today's market.

This well-maintained, Garmin IFR equipped, 6-passenger A36 Bonanza is ready to go. Its clean IFR panel, STEC autopilot, 1410 lb useful load, and well appointed interior make cross-country travel a breeze. This A36 is one of the best values on today's market.

Please carefully review the detailed, high resolution image gallery and lengthy walkaround video below. You'll see every inch of the aircraft. If you reach out to me, I can digitally share all logbooks and important documents.

Aircraft Evaluation

As broker, I make a significant effort to represent the aircraft up front in as much detail as possible, identifying not only the benefits and features I've discovered, but also the issues that may catch your attention when you look at the aircraft in person. I present well over 100 detailed, high resolution images, in some cases noting with text, directly on the image, the issues which caught my attention. All logbooks and other important documents are readily available in digital format, well organized and easily identifiable.

My goal is that any Buyer making the effort to look at an aircraft in person can first see the aircraft "virtually" on this web page and through video. This helps the Buyer avoid surprises when they arrive to view the aircraft in person.

Exterior - 7/10 The exterior of Bonanza N1763W is overall in reasonably good condition for its age. Leading and trailing edge aluminum looks good. I noted only a few minor dings, one on the trailing edge of the left aileron, and a minor tweak to the trailing edge of the rear door (see image gallery below). Paint shine and depth are consistent with aged paint that has been consistently hangared. I think the paint looks good for its age, and shows only a minimum of fade and occasional chips. A professional polish and ceramic coat treatment is likely to make it look nicer. Some of the plastic light lenses show haze and could be cleaned up, restored or replaced easily. Prop, spinner, and nose/cowling are in good condition - only a small bit of paint chips are evident on the lower right side of the nose (see image gallery below for close-up detail). Tires are in good condition and show minimal wear. Overall, I saw nothing concerning on the exterior of the aircraft.

Instrument Panel - 6.5/10 The instrument panel on N1763W is clean and well organized. This IFR-ready panel uses a Garmin GNS430 as its IFR GPS Navigator (database is current), along with its integrated COM radio. The transponder has been upgraded to a Stratus ESG with integrated ASD-B OUT and IN, providing a connection to tablets and iPads for EFB software such as ForeFlight. The audio panel has been upgraded to a Garmin GMA340 with music/entertainment inputs. Cross-country flights are easier with the venerable STEC 50 2-axis autopilot, which has been upgraded with GPSS steering. For additional details on the panel, please see the equipment list above. The image gallery below provides high resolution images of the entire instrument panel.

Interior - 7.5/10 The interior was replaced in 1998 and has been kept up nicely. The leather on the seats is in good condition - only one small area on the piping of the #2 seat shows significant wear (most likely from being rubbed during ingress and egress). The carpet is in good condition and shows slightly less wear than one would expect for its age. The headliner looks new (it was recently replaced). Interior parts and plastic are good condition.

Overall - I would be proud to own this A36 Bonanza. Cosmetics are generally good, and the aircraft has been well cared for. The panel is IFR-ready and would be pleasant to fly with. The engine is high-hour, however the Owner/Seller has been meticulous about regular oil changes and has established an oil analysis trend with testing at each oil change (see latest analysis reports in the image gallery below).
