The N35 Bonanza represents the "coming of age" for Beech's Model 35, the first year with a long rear window and increased aft baggage area. Beechcraft had worked out the kinks and now had a seriously high performing aircraft.
The N35 was built when the Model 35 was still lighter weight, but Beechcraft was integrating refinements such as vernier engine and mixture controls, "sight and touch" gear and flap handles (positive identification of controls), separate fuel gauges for auxiliary tanks, and relocation of the landing light from the wing to the nosewheel strut.
Here's an opportunity to own a high performance single engine that is born of Beechcraft quality, that meets or exceeds the performance of a lot of far more expensive aircraft on the market. Where else can you get this kind of quality and performance on such a budget?
Please carefully review the specs, the detailed high resolution image gallery, and the walkaround video below. A significant effort has been made to fully review logbooks and document the specifications of this aircraft. If you reach out to me, I can digitally share all logbooks and important documents.

Walkaround Video
Aircraft Evaluation
| As the broker, I make a significant effort to represent an aircraft in as much detail as possible. I share with you not only the benefits and features I've discovered, but also the issues or concerns that I found during my extensive intake and deep logbook review process. I present dozens of detailed, high resolution images, and an extensive walkaround video. Please review this material in detail. All logbooks and other important documents are professionally scanned, well organized, and available for your review.
My goal is that any Buyer making the effort to look at an aircraft in person can first see the aircraft "virtually" on this web page. |
Exterior - The aluminum surfaces of this N35 Bonanza are in reasonable shape for its age. I did not spot any evidence of hangar rash on trailing edges of the wings or ruddervators, and the leading edges look to be in good condition. I spotted some very minor dings on the top surfaces of the ruddervators, see the highly detailed images below.
The paint is in fair condition when you look at it up close. It looks like there have been some paint corrections in various places. Overall, though, as you can see in the pictures, it looks pretty good.
The Image Gallery (below) contains close-up, detailed, high resolution images so that you can get a better idea of the aircraft exterior condition.
Instrument Panel - N9381Y has a clean and simple IFR panel. The large screen Garmin GNS530W WAAS GPS Navigator/nav/com provides excellent IFR capabilities, along with the venerable KX155 nav/com radio and a TT31 Mode-S transponder. The traditional "6-pack" panel contains a standard compliment for IFR and VFR flying, along with a Century III 2-axis autopilot. A really great feature of the panel is a Castleberry electric attitude indicator, a life saver if vacuum was lost during IFR operations.
Please refer to the "Avionics and Equipment" list above for complete details of all avionics, and to the Image Gallery below for close-up images.
Interior - The recently updated leather really makes for a cozy, clean interior in this N35 Bonanza. Overall, the carpet, side panels, headliner, and seats are in good condition. The only minor flaw that caught my attention was some abnormal wear on the right-side front arm rest (an easy fix). The 4-point inertial reel seat belts up front are a welcomed and valuable upgrade to a Bonanza.
Please review the high resolution images in the Image Gallery (below) for a detailed look at the interior condition.
