N315EB - main 1

The Piper PA-34-200T Seneca II is recognized as one of the most versatile, safe, and popular light twins in aviation history.

The Seneca II's spacious and comfortable cabin, with a width of 49 inches, seats up to six people in a "club seating" configuration. Its turbo-equipped engines give it an edge on performance that you don't see on many other twins of its class. And, its counter-rotating props enhance safety by eliminating the "critical engine" limitation inherent in most other light twins, simplifying engine-out procedures.

N315EB has led a life of strict maintenance and is the ideal light twin for enjoying cross-country flights with your friends, or building twin time. This Seneca II has decent overall cosmetics, and the recent top overhaul of its turbo-charged engines has extended its life for lots of great flying.

Please carefully review the specs, the detailed high resolution image gallery, and the walkaround video below. A significant effort has been made to fully review all logbooks and document the specifications and history of this aircraft. If you reach out to me, I can digitally share all logbooks and important documents.

Aircraft Evaluation

As the broker, I make a significant effort to represent an aircraft in as much detail as possible. I share with you not only the benefits and features I've discovered, but also the issues or concerns that I found during my extensive intake and deep logbook review process. I present dozens of detailed, high resolution images, and an extensive walkaround video. Please review this material in detail. All logbooks and other important documents are professionally scanned, well organized, and available for your review.

My goal is that any Buyer making the effort to look at an aircraft in person can first see the aircraft "virtually" on this web page.

Exterior - Overall, the exterior of this PA-34-200T turbocharged Seneca II is in good shape. During the extensive intake process, I found no evidence of hail damage or hangar rash. The aluminum looks good, and I was challenged to find any issues. The owner noted some minor deformation on the leading edge of the rudder - but, it is so minor that I missed it during my initial walkaround.

The 2004 paint is about a 5/10 and exhibits reasonable depth and shine. There are some areas, particularly around the engine nacelles and leading edges, where some paint has chipped away.

The aircraft is always hangared, and as a result, the paint has survived fairly well for its age. A professional deep polish and ceramic coating would likely make this Seneca II shine very nicely.

During the logbook review, I found no evidence of damage history or unusual repairs to the aluminum or structure. A review of the NTSB database also reveals no accident reports on this aircraft.

The Image Gallery (below) contains close-up, detailed, high resolution images so that you can get a great view of the aircraft exterior.

Instrument Panel - This IFR-equipped panel is a mildly upgraded, traditional style panel with a Garmin WAAS GNS530W acting as primary comm/nav and providing GPS navigator services. Secondary comm/nav is provided by legacy Collins radios, the venerable VHF-251 and VIR-351. The Garmin GTX330ES transponder, with its optional "Extended Squitter", provides ADS-B Out services.

This Seneca II is equipped with a 2-axis Altimatic III autopilot, and is particularly well equipped for IFR flying with its onboard RCA WeatherScout II radar and Narco Altitude Reporter.

One of the most important instruments in any aircraft is a really good engine data management system. N315EB has an EDM-790, one of the most advanced engine monitoring instruments designed for twin engine aircraft. One of the best features of this class of EDM instruments is the ability to save and export engine parameter data. Such data can be used in engine data analytics programs, such as what's offered by Savvy Aviation, to closely monitor engine performance and detect possible challenges well in advance of having an issue.

Please refer to the "Avionics and Equipment" list above for complete details of all avionics, and to the Image Gallery below for close-up images.

Interior - Overall, the interior of N315EB is in reasonably good condition. The plush leather seats are in good to fair condition, with the highest traffic areas exhibiting more wear. The carpet is in generally good condition, though some professional cleaning would really clean it up nicely.

Side panels and plastics show some age but are in overall good condition. The overhead ventilation tunnel has some cosmetic challenges. The center consoles and door panels look nice.

Below, you will find over 100 detailed, high-resolution images of the aircraft, including up-close pictures of the interior. Please review those pictures to get a good feel for interior condition.

Please reach out to me so that I may answer any questions you have.
