N76KU - main 1

The S35 is the most desirable version of the Model 35 series.

The sweet spot in the Beech Model 35 lineage is the "S" model. It's when they were still lighter weight, and it's when Beech finally took the Bonanza to the desirable IO-520 platform. N76KU takes it one step further with its IO-550 and 300 horsepower.

Here's an opportunity to own a high performance single engine that is born of Beechcraft quality, and that meets or exceeds the performance of a lot of far more expensive aircraft on the market.

Please carefully review the specs, the detailed high resolution image gallery, and the walkaround video below. A significant effort has been made to document the specifications and history of this aircraft. If you reach out to me, I can digitally share all logbooks and important documents.

Aircraft Evaluation

As the broker, I make a significant effort to represent an aircraft in as much detail as possible. I share with you not only the benefits and features I've discovered, but also the issues or concerns that I found during my extensive intake and deep logbook review process. I present dozens of detailed, high resolution images, and an extensive walkaround video. Please review this material in detail. All logbooks and other important documents are professionally scanned, well organized, and available for your review.

My goal is that any Buyer making the effort to look at an aircraft in person can first see the aircraft "virtually" on this web page.

Exterior - The exterior of this hangared Bonanza is in good overall condition. Aluminum is in good shape. I saw no signs of any damage or hangar rash. Leading edges are clean. Of particular importance is that the magnesium control surfaces, including the ruddervators, look to be in nice condition.

Paint has good depth and would look even nicer with professional attention. There are some minor paint chips on the nose bowl, above the nose gear. There is a very minor nitpick scrape on the left wing outboard leading edge, just inside of the wing strip - this is shown on the detailed images below. I'm really picking on things though, as it's something that most people wouldn't notice.

No doubt due to being always hangared, the Plexiglas looks good. The upgraded, thick D'Shannon sloped windshield is in good condition. Tires have a lot of tread and look to be in satisfactory condition. The wheel wells and belly could use a professional cleaning.

The Image Gallery (below) contains close-up, detailed, high resolution images so that you can get a great view of the aircraft exterior.

N76KU - short wide panel

Instrument Panel - The clean IFR panel in N76KU is a standard 6-pack arrangement, significantly enhanced with an Aspen EFD1000 Pro Evolution glass panel that provides synthetic vision. The Honeywell/Bendix King radio stack has their flagship GPS Navigator/COM/NAV/MFD radio, along with a KX155 navcom and KN74 ADS-B Out Transponder. The bluetooth-enabled PS Engineering PMA8000BT is one of the better audio panels on the market, providing excellent connectivity to external devices such as a smartphone/music source, etc.

Please refer to the "Avionics and Equipment" list above for complete details, and to the Image Gallery below for close-up images.

Interior - The interior is very presentable and clean. Upholstery, carpet, headliner, and side panels are all in good working order and void of rips, tears, or damage. Nothing negative caught my eye on the interior. Overall, it's in good condition.

Please look at the high resolution images in the Image Gallery for more details on the interior condition. The walkaround video, below, also shows the interior and headliner up close.

Overall - It's challenging these days to find a good S35, one with an IO-550 upgrade, clean inside and out, and with no known damage history. After spending several hours with this aircraft, the only thing I can find to pick on (and this is just a nitpick) is that while the exterior looks good, it could use some professional attention to make it look immaculate. N76KU is an absolutely fantastic get-up-and-go-fast, high performance single engine which has that undisputable Beech quality, inside and out. And, you can fly this S35 for a fraction of the cost of owning and maintaining some of the other high performance aircraft on the market that don't fly any faster.
