1957 Cessna 310B
N1113T
Beautifully refurbished
straight-tail Twin Cessna

Perhaps the most iconic twin Cessna ever, this 310B closely followed TV icon "Sky King" on the factory production line.
The 310B is one of the most recognized and revered twin Cessnas in existence. This one, N1113T, is a survivor. After long term proper storage in the Arizona dry country, it has undergone deep restorative updates by its two most recent owners. During this process, a thick 3-ring binder has been kept which recorded the dates, details, and hours spent on bringing this 310B back to life (far more detail than required or entered into logbooks).
In addition to the review provided here, the aircraft was recently professionally appraised. That appraisal provides significant detail on the aircraft and is available digitally, along with complete logs, upon request.
Please carefully review the specs, the detailed high resolution image gallery, and the walkaround video below. A significant effort has been made to document the specifications and history of the aircraft. If you reach out to me, I can digitally share all logbooks and important documents.

Aircraft Evaluation
As the broker, I make a significant effort to represent an aircraft in as much detail as possible. I share with you not only the benefits and features I've discovered, but also the issues or concerns that I found during my extensive intake and deep logbook review process. I present dozens of detailed, high resolution images, and an extensive walkaround video. Please review this material in detail. All logbooks and other important documents are professionally scanned, well organized, and available for your review.
My goal is that any Buyer making the effort to look at an aircraft in person can first see the aircraft "virtually" on this web page. |
Exterior - The exterior aluminum is in nice condition for the vintage. The only defects I discovered during the intake inspection were very minor cracks/damage on the trailing edge of the rudder and right-side elevator. Leading edge aluminum looks good. There is some minor hail damage to control surfaces which I did not see at first, but which the Seller pointed out to me.
While the paint looks pretty good from afar, upon closer inspection, you will note that the paint shows its age and has some defects including minor runs in some places. The aircraft is fine to fly "as is", but new paint would make this 310B look absolutely fantastic.
Plexiglas windshield and side windows look great (all were recently replaced). Tires are nearly new and look really nice.
The Image Gallery (below) contains close-up, detailed, high resolution images so that you can get a great view of the aircraft exterior.

Instrument Panel - This 310B's IFR-capable panel has been completely revamped, including new Garmin avionics, relocation of instruments to a modern arrangement, a center radio stack, and an update to circuit breakers and switches. All vacuum instruments have been eliminated, necessitating the removal of all vacuum equipment from both engines (resulting in significant weight savings and reduced complexity).
For a complete listing of instrument panel components, please refer to the "Avionics and Equipment" list above, and to the Image Gallery below for close-up images.
Interior - Refurbished in 2017 using approved materials, the interior style is reminiscent of the era of this 310B. The interior is clean. Seats and carpet show hardly any wear, and are in good order. Some minor trim pieces are missing in the pictures, however the Seller is now reinstalling those refurbished pieces.
To get a better feel for the interior condition, please review the detailed, high resolution images in the Image Gallery below.
Overall - The Seller has gotten this beautiful 310B nearly over the finish line, with its extensive rehab. The interior looks fantastic, and the engines are gorgeous and clean as can be (see the detailed images below). The panel is modernized. Most 310s haven't had these kinds of updates. This 310B will need paint if you want to bring it back to its original glory! Compared to most other twins on the market, one cannot find the performance and style of this 310B at this price level.
